Why You Need Magnesium Oil Spray
Doesn't matter if you just started keto or you've been on it for a while. chances are you've experienced some spasms and cramping.
While there can be many causes behind this, one of the main reasons why this happens is because your body is starving for magnesium!
So why would is this happening?
Even if you follow keto 100% there's still a good chance that you may be deficient in magnesium. Even when you are eating the best foods, your magnesium levels can still be low because it gets depleted when you are stressed, don't get enough sleep or if you are taking in too much caffeine, sugar or alcohol.
And years ago we use to get all of the magnesium that we needed for our bodies from the food we ate the water we drank but as of recent, that's not the case!
The soil where our food is grown and even where the animals graze at has been overfarmed and polluted with pesticides.
And in an attempt to make our water “better” municipals begin to filter the water which basically removed all of the important minerals!

Benefits Of Using Magnesium Oil
So now that you know why your body is depleted of magnesium, let's talk a little about what affects not having enough magnesium does to your body.
Magnesium is an essential electrolyte and mineral that plays a key role in helping our body function and without it we lack energy and can have issues with our nerves and muscles.
Over 80% of the population has some type of magnesium deficiency, and if you're on keto then you have a higher risk level because of the increased loss of fluids and electrolytes.
Health Issues From Magnesium Deficiency
Did you know that there are over 300 enzymatic functions that require magnesium and they range from neural conduction to DNA replication!
Some of the health issues associated with magnesium deficiency include:
– Asthma
– Diabetes
– Osteoporosis
– Digestive Issues
– Chronic Diarrhea
– High Blood Pressure
– Anxiety & Depression
– Poor Nutrient Absorption
– Muscle Twitching & Cramps
– Muscle Weakness & Fatigue
– Gluten Intolerance & Celiac Disease
The list goes on and on!
So as you can see magnesium is a very important mineral that you body not only wants but needs!
And the easiest way I’ve found to get the increased magnesium is transdermally or by spraying magnesium oil directly on my skin.
Magnesium oil spray can help improve your hormones, alleviate headaches, reduce depression and anxiety, stop cramps and improve your sleep!
You just spray it on after you take your shower or a bath then let it soak in. That's it! You're done!
It’s quick, easy, and doing it this way (vs taking magnesium pills) bypasses the digestive system which is optimal for the getting it absorbed into your bloodstream.
Also, the body will only take what it needs through the skin. Whereas taking some supplements orally can cause over-abundance in the body, but this is not usually the case when you apply it transdermally.
Making Your Magnesium Oil Spray
Making your own magnesium oil spray is easy and cost effective. Here's what you need:
INGREDIENTS
1/2 Cup Distilled Water (I recommend Glaceau SmartWater)
1/2 Cup Magnesium Chloride Flakes (I recommend Ancient Minerals)
You will also need a 4 oz cobalt blue spray bottle. This is the one I use and recommend.
HOW TO MAKE YOUR MAGNESIUM OIL SPRAY
1st: Add your distilled water to a stainless steel saucepan and bring it to a boil.
2nd: Turn off the heat then add your magnesium chloride flakes and stir them until they are dissolved. Once cool, pour the mixture into your cobalt blue spray bottle.
That's it!
Now of course if you don't want to make it, I suggest that you buy the premade magnesium oil spray that Ancient Minerals sells.
I use my spray twice a day. In the morning then again at night. I use 10 – 20 sprays per day and spray it on my arms, legs, and stomach. It may still feel a bit greasy or moist on your skin but you can rub it in lightly.
Now I want to warn you… it will tingle the first few times you use it but this is normal and it typically goes away after a few days.
If after a few days you still feel the tingling, and it bothers you, then you can dilute it with a little bit more water.
I leave mines on all day however if you want you can remove it after 30 minutes.
